I’m Dr. Mel, ND! I obtained a double major in chemistry and psychology with honors from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick before I completed my masters in medical neuroscience at Memorial University in Newfoundland; I then studied naturopathic medicine for 4 years at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver BC and becoming a naturopathic doctor.

I come from Nova Scotia on the east coast of Canada but am thrilled to call Kimberley my home. I believe that health is not a collection of symptoms, which lead to a diagnosis and a prescription. Covering up and eliminating symptoms does not remove the reason they appeared. To heal someone is to treat the entirety of who they are, and to dive deeply into potential underlying causes. It is my goal to get you results and to improve your health through a combination of counselling, nutrition, supplements, herbs, labs and medications. My special focus is neuroendoimmunology - how your brain, your hormones and your digestive/immune system interact! I dream big!
